Biden’s new Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, has taken on an important issue: handling the extreme number of sexual assault cases in our military — a figure that has been on the rise recently.

Austin plans to make it easier — and safer — for sexual assault and harassment to be reported and would assign them to unbiased, non-military prosecutors. This is a huge step in the right direction!
