Hi team,
We have great news: President Biden has issued executive orders reopening Affordable Care Act insurance marketplaces and lowering Medicaid barriers.
"The orders will be Biden's first steps since taking office to help Americans gain health insurance, a prominent campaign goal that has assumed escalating significance as the pandemic has dramatized the need for affordable health care -- and deprived millions of Americans coverage as they have lost jobs in the economic fallout," The Washington Post reports.
We're thrilled that Biden is taking action to get Americans the health care they so desperately need, but we're also worried -- our ultra-conservative SCOTUS will be hearing a case soon that's attempting to overturn the ACA altogether.
At this critical moment, we need to know what YOU think Biden should be focusing on. Tell us:
Should Biden prioritize fighting for the Affordable Care Act?
