Here’s a list of The Southern Strategy goals over the next year:
FIRST: we have to continue our efforts empowering voters who have been excluded from our electoral system.
NEXT: we must elect leaders who understand the impacts of our history of exclusion and are committed to stopping its legacy.
FINALLY: we have to change the system, passing legislation that ensures all voices are taken into consideration.
These are lofty goals, but if you look back on what we achieved in Georgia, you will understand that these goals are well within reach.
There are still so many important issues that we have to fight for across the country. Ensuring anyone and everyone can vote will help us do just that.
