These past few months have been eventful — so here’s a recap of everything that has happened:
FIRST: Trump spent months undermining the results of the elections, fueling his base, and giving credence to lies.
THEN: Trump directly incited a riot that led to the deaths of five people. When called to condemn the violence, he spoke to the rioters, saying, “I love you and you are all very special.”
NOW: Trump is the only president in U.S. history to have been impeached twice — and the time has come for the Senate to do its duty and convict him for his role in the violence.

The danger Trump poses to our democracy is very real, even now after he has left office. It is time we hold him accountable for what he has done and prevent him from doing even more damage to our country by running again.
