For example, a recent poll showed that the COUP Act — Jamaal's first piece of legislation that calls for creating a national commission to investigate ties between white supremacists and Capitol Police — is supported by 66% of voters polled, including 61% of Republicans and 59% of independents. This groundbreaking legislation is the first of Jamaal's innovative efforts to create policies that meet the scale and scope of the crises we face.
