"Biden Repeals Executive Orders, Heeds Kilmer's Call to Restore Collective Bargaining Power and Worker Protections"
- The Suburban Times, January 25, 2021

Hello,
Today is the twelfth anniversary of President Barack Obama signing the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act into law. This anniversary is a reminder of the important work we still have ahead of us, including:
-
building a fair and just economy;
-
supporting workers;
-
raising the minimum wage to $15 an hour, and
-
tackling the pervasive gender pay gap.
And that's just to name a few!
Well, this week, America took a step forward when President Biden repealed five anti-worker Trump administration executive orders. Derek led the charge to encourage the Biden administration to repeal these harmful policies of the past administration, and we're celebrating this victory for the people.
But here's the truth, friend – our work's only getting started. Derek is going to battle for all workers, especially the public servants who are dedicated to helping their fellow Americans even in the middle of a pandemic.
Derek is ready to work alongside the new administration to ensure that workers are treated fairly and justly. To stand with Derek and President Biden in the fight to build a fair economy that works for ALL Americans — not just the wealthy few — add your name right now.
Don't agonize — organize,
Team Kilmer
