The article of impeachment charging Donald Trump with "incitement of insurrection" has made it to the Senate -- but Republicans are STILL defending Trump:
"Well first of all, I think the trial is stupid," Sen. Marco Rubio said on Fox News Sunday. "I think it's counterproductive."
It's clear that the GOP is determined to defend Trump's seditious actions -- and let him keep his privileges as a former president. If President Trump isn't convicted by the Senate, he'll get to keep his presidential pension and receive up to $1 million annually for security and protection from the Secret Service.
All of Trump's pension and security costs are funded by our hard-earned taxpayer dollars, but with Democratic control of Congress and the White House, we can fight back against his attempts to keep up his grift.
