Amplify Action is continuing to work hard to make sure every Black voice is heard. Our volunteers text, call, and knock on doors to help register and educate Black voters during the most important elections of our lifetime.
However, we recognize the work doesn’t end with voting alone.
Black Americans are severely underrepresented in government. Only
15% of the United States Congress are Black, and just
11% of elected officeholders nationwide are non-white politicians.
That’s why we’re launching Amplify 💯. Amplify Action will work to recruit and train 100 Black men and use all of our resources to help get them elected.
We’re determined to end the underrepresentation of Black individuals in government, on every level. And we need all of the support possible to help make this a reality.
