Trump’s impeachment trial is set to begin on February 9th — and most GOP Senators are covering their eyes and ears instead of doing their jobs.

Sen. Marco Rubio thinks impeachment is a “waste of time.” Sen. John Cornyn threatened to “go back and try President Obama.” And Rep. Kevin McCarthy went from “Trump bears responsibility” to “I don't believe he provoked” the insurrectionists.

They’re not only turning their backs on accountability. They are sabotaging our only opportunity to heal the nation. Let’s be clear — there is no unity without accountability. And we need to move quickly if we want to heal the nation from Trump’s disastrous presidency.
