Have you heard the latest from Vox News? "Trump and Jeffrey Clark, a Department of Justice lawyer in charge of the civil division, devised a plan that would have seen the Department of Justice working to improperly keep Trump in office by replacing acting attorney general Jeffrey Rosen -- who had refused to go along with Trump's attempts to undermine election results -- with Clark."

As if it wasn't enough that Trump filed 60 lawsuits in a dozen states to overturn the election.

As if it wasn't enough that he asked Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to "find" extra votes for him.

As if it wasn't enough that Trump incited a violent mob to storm the Capitol and interrupt the certification of his loss.

It couldn't be more clear: Trump deserves to be convicted in his impeachment trial.

There is one silver lining from this: we've shown that even the world's most powerful narcissist, who's willing to break all the rules to hold onto power, cannot succeed against the will of the American people.

But as Trump's impeachment trial approaches in the Senate, we're not seeing the overwhelming consensus on his crimes that we would hope. And prominent senators like Ted Cruz and Josh Hawley are still denying that Trump did anything wrong.
