Hi there,

Does it feel wrong to you that some of the senators who helped incite this month's insurrection at the Capitol will now be able to decide whether Donald Trump is guilty of inciting the insurrection at the Capitol?

It does to us -- and to former Nixon White House counsel John Dean, a veteran of impeachment hearings, who tweeted that any of Trump's election fraud "co-conspirators" should be disqualified from hearing the Senate trial.

Unfortunately, the trial is coming full steam ahead in just days -- and not a single Republican shows any sign of remorse or intent to recuse themselves. We have to start building pressure.

Should insurrectionist senators recuse themselves from the impeachment trial?
