Hi team,
The Supreme Court is set to hear a case that, according to Democrats, "could lock in dark money influence as a constitutional right."
That's because the same kind of dark money groups that threw their funding behind the Capitol riots are now asking the court to give them complete anonymity when donating to protect their so called "dissident beliefs."
We've already seen what happens when GOP dark money goes unchecked -- a rampant spread of disinformation, violence, and corruption that has already cost enough lives. The last thing we need is the Biden administration losing yet another way to hold dark money groups accountable.
But we're facing a 6-3 conservative majority in the court, and if we're going to form a strong opposition, we need to know that Democrats are staying engaged with the Republican dark money machine. Please, let us know where you stand now:
Should dark money be allowed in politics?
