There’s no question that Democrats inherited a disaster.

Unemployment and COVID-19 deaths are at record highs. Families are struggling more than ever to put food on the table. And the Biden administration is determined to hold the insurrectionists who would destroy our democracy accountable.

The GOP wants us to give up, and focus on their definition of “unity” above all else. But there can be no unity without accountability. And we are not the party of quitters. We can convict Donald Trump, confirm President Biden’s cabinet and key officials, provide desperately needed COVID relief, and hold elected officials who incited violence accountable — all at the same time.
