Trump has left office, and immigration authorities are now working overtime to finish his border wall. From the Washington Post:

"'We're looking at project timelines, estimated construction completion and looking to prioritize segments of the wall to minimize the potential threats created by a stoppage,' said one senior CBP official involved in the conversations."

Biden has unveiled parts of his agenda to reform our broken immigration system. How soon he will fulfill his promise to halt construction on Trump's border wall remains unclear.

Our new presidential administration has the opportunity to transform our border from a site of terror to a site of compassion for those searching to create a better life -- but it's going to take standing up to border patrol, ICE, and the cruel corporations profiting off of mass suffering to make sure no migrant mother has to have her child ripped from her arms ever again.
