As if Senator Josh Hawley hasn't already endangered our national security enough, the Washington Post reports that he “moved later Tuesday to block the fast-track confirmation process” for Alejandro Mayorkas, Biden's pick to lead the Department of Homeland Security.
Given the recent siege on the U.S. Capitol -- which Hawley helped to incite -- it's crucial to have our country's top national security officials in place as quickly as possible. Hawley is once again placing his ideologies over the safety of the American people, and we need to mobilize Democratic support to make sure he doesn't succeed. That's why we want to hear from you:
