Senators Ted Cruz, Josh Hawley, Rep. Lauren Boebert, and other GOP members embraced a lie. A lie peddled by Trump and conspiracy theorists. A lie that led to the insurrectionists storming our Capitol in a deadly attack.

It’s been 17 days since the attack. And the politicians who spread these dangerous lies have yet to show any remorse. Not a single apology. Not an inkling of regret. No acknowledgment for their disgraceful roles in the insurrection that left five dead. It’s sickening.

These GOP members will go down in history as traitors with blood on their hands. But we can’t wait for history to be written. We need to take action.
