On Wednesday, Joseph R. Biden, Jr. was sworn in as the 46th president of the United States. Hours after his address, Biden took immediate action to undue several of former President Donald Trump's initiatives. Biden signed 17 executive orders and took actions on immigration, climate change, COVID-19, racial equality and more.

GOP Women Display Great Leadership

Several Republican women in the U.S. House penned a letter to President Biden, congratulating him and noting their desire "to work together, despite their differences." Rep. Ashley Hinson (IA-01) noted people’s growing frustration with Washington dysfunction and said she stands ready to get to work.
