Hi team,

Last Wednesday, Rep. Liz Cheney, the No. 3 House Republican, became the highest-ranking member of the GOP to vote in favor of impeaching Trump.

'There has never been a greater betrayal by a President of the United States of his office and his oath to the Constitution,' Cheney wrote in the statement, blaming Trump for inciting a mob of rioters to trash the Capitol," POLITICO reports.

The move, which garnered her scorn from most Republicans and praise from some Democrats, signals a precarious moment for the GOP. Many Republicans are leaving the fold entirely, resigning from their positions, or otherwise distancing themselves from the GOP. You might even have people in your own life doing the same.

But hasn't the damage already been done? Are these demonstrations too little, too late? Or are they welcome acts? That's why we're reaching out to you today. Tell us how you're feeling now:
Do you want to forgive and forget the insurrection at the Capitol?
