Hi team,
Since the year began, Trump has incited a violent insurrection at the Capitol, told white supremacists he loved them, and issued vague threats to Joe Biden and his administration for pursuing his removal:
“As the expression goes,” he said at an event in Texas, “‘Be careful what you wish for.'”
Trump has routinely floated running for presidential office again in the future -- and given the large number of Republicans in Congress who voted against Biden's certification and Trump's impeachment, there's reason to believe his allies are preparing to rally behind him again.
Democrats who are following through with the impeachment process to get Trump convicted in a Senate trial could be aiming to disqualify him from holding public office of any kind ever again. We're reaching out to get a sense of your current priorities -- tell us how you feel:
Should Trump be barred from holding federal office in the future?
Thank you for everything you're doing during this difficult moment.
