Team —

Monday marks Martin Luther King Jr. Day — a day to reflect on the legacy of Dr. King, a man who fought for civil rights and against the injustice faced by so many Black Americans, without deferring to partisanship or politics.

In the military, Black Americans fought for our nation before they even got the right to vote. Our nation’s history of discrimination and inequity is one we must all work against and we here at Go for Broke for Vets know that the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated many of the inequalities that Black Americans face.

It’s up to us to carry the torch of Dr. King’s fight, team. The Biden-Harris Transition Team is hosting a Day of Action on Monday to honor the legacy of Dr. King. Can we count on you to join us during this important event?

We look forward to continuing to work to make the principles of Dr. King a reality for Black Americans.

We here at Go for Broke for Veterans are dedicated to fighting for our nation’s heroes. Founded by Democratic members of the House’s Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, the goal of Go for Broke for Vets is to fight back against the GOP's attempts to undercut the work the committee does to help our vets. Your support is critical to ensuring that we can elect more members of Congress to support our veterans.
