Statement from NYGOP Chairman Nick Langworthy on the Passing of Chenango County Republican Chairman Tom Morrone

“On behalf of the entire New York Republican Party, Erin and I offer our sincerest condolences on the passing of Chenango County Republican Chairman Tom Morrone. Tom held the distinction of being the state’s longest-serving Republican county chair, dedicating nearly four decades of service to our Party.
“It goes without saying that Tom will be greatly missed. He leaves an indelible mark on our organization and his community that he loved deeply. He was a man of integrity whom several generations of party leaders, elected officials, and community members looked to for sage advice and counsel.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Morrone family and all his loved ones. May he Rest in Peace.”
