Last week's insurrection was an alarming start to the year. Organizers across the country have come together to address the companies and politicians who paved the way for the white supremacist riot — including 13 GOP Koch-funded senators.

These senators, led by Ted Cruz of Texas, are Josh Hawley of Missouri, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, James Lankford of Oklahoma, Steve Daines of Montana, John Kennedy of Louisiana, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Mike Braun of Indiana, Senator-elect Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Roger Marshall of Kansas, Tommy Tuberville of Alabama, and Bill Hagerty of Tennessee and (now former) Senator from Georgia, Kelly Loeffler.

They objected to the congressional confirmation of President-Elect Biden, despite countless court claims against voter fraud, and The Koch Network was responsible for spending over $15 million to keep these senator seats in Congress.

It is dangerous to have these officials walk away without accountability or some sort of punishment. We need to be able to depend on them to keep the country safe and just — which is far from what they have done.
