There are no words strong enough to convey how reprehensible the attack on our nation's Capitol was.

The words and actions of Donald Trump and his enablers, peddling conspiracy theories about a plot to steal the election and objections to the election certification, not only led to the attack but also egged the terrorists on. These elected officials must be held accountable for their dereliction of duty and incitement of a domestic terrorist attack.

For years, corporate PACs have funded Trump's allies because of the access and influence it gives them to our government. From the start of his campaign, Jason took the No Corporate PAC Pledge and doesn't take a DIME from corporate PACs.

If corporate PACs do not act immediately, they are sending a message that incitement and treason can be rewarded with campaign donations.

It's past time to get big money out of politics -- and now more than ever, corporate PACs cannot remain loyal to Trump's enablers who incited the attack. Leaders of our government took cover and feared for their lives -- because of Trump enablers who are backed by corporate PACs. It's time for this to end NOW.
