Any member who directly or indirectly supported the deadly mob who stormed the Capitol last week is unfit to hold office. Period.
The 14th Amendment explicitly states that no elected official "shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion" or aided those seditionists. Under this amendment, Congress has the responsibility to remove any treasonous Members from the governing body.
Our democracy is being tested. We must rise to the challenge of upholding and defending American democracy.
