Dear Friend,
Yesterday was historic. For the first time, Muslim Americans impacted by the Muslim Ban testified before Congress in the hearing for the No Ban Act. It has been more than two years since President Trump issued a ban that prevented many Muslim Americans' family members from entering the country. Ismail Alghazali, a Yemeni-American man, has not been able to meet his daughter born abroad because his wife's visa was denied. It is outrageous that religion and national origin have been used as a basis for discrimination. We're asking you to stand with all people of faith and ask your elected officials to end the Muslim Ban by supporting the No Ban Act.
Take Action

As people of faith, we are concerned not only about the devastating impact this has had on the affected communities, but we are also very concerned about the dangerous precedent it sets by discriminating based on religious affiliation.
We believe we must all work to protect the rights of Americans of all religious backgrounds. This benefits us all. Any legislation that shows bias against one particular religion should be of concern to Americans of any faith background.
People should not be banned based on their faith or national origin.
Such an action separates families and prevents people in dangerous situations from finding refuge. Please join us in supporting the No Ban Act.
Thank you!
In Faith,
Rev. Terrance McKinley
Director of Racial Justice and Mobilizing
