Team,
In an unprecedented 232 to 197 final vote, the House of Representatives impeached Donald Trump (again...) — making him the first president in history to be impeached twice.
Trump thought his call for insurrection on January 6th would go unpunished. But House Democrats (and 10 Republicans) stood their ground and put him in his place.
But what now? This fight is far from over.
Help us kick GOP leaders who support Trump’s insurrection out of office. Pitch in $10 now >>>
Now it’s up to the Senate to give Trump the final blow with a trial for his removal. Congress has the opportunity to remove this dangerous seditionist and disqualify him from ever running for office again.
All eyes are on the Senate. Are they going to let Trump’s violent coup that left five dead, including a police officer, go unscathed, or will they do the right thing and protect our democracy from this traitor?
We still have a lot of work to do.
