Here's what's at stake in critical upcoming races.

Dozens of races will be occurring in the lead-up to 2020. In New Hampshire, a climate denier is coming out of retirement to defend a seat for the GOP. And in Texas, a Republican hold in the special election this year could prevent any chance at a Democratic takeover in 2020.
