Friend, Don’t forget to join us virtually at the Civil Rights Memorial Center this Friday at 12 p.m. Eastern for a panel discussion commemorating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Click here to register, or see below for more details. After the events of this past week, it’s clear that we need to hear Dr. King’s teachings just as much now as we did 50 years ago. When we pressed “send” on the below invite last Wednesday, we had no idea that just minutes later a violent mob would begin to storm our nation’s Capitol. Hate and extremism are still undeniable existential threats to our society. The fight for racial, economic and social justice is far from over. In this event, we’ll discuss how to learn from Dr. King’s example and share strategies for how to continue the march for justice – strategies we will need in the weeks, months and years ahead. Please join us. In solidarity, Your friends at the SPLC
