Yesterday, I delivered the official Republican response to the governor's 2021 State of the State Address to set the record straight about his gross incompetence, mismanagement, and failures.

The truth is--the state of our state is that New York is in CRISIS.

We are facing a fiscal crisis, a public safety crisis, a population crisis…

But most of all we are facing a leadership crisis.

Andrew Cuomo has been governor for 10 years--he hasn't just presided over New York's decline, he is the architect of it.

Andrew Cuomo acts like a dictator and his rubberstamp legislature has abdicated their constitutional duties to him. It's time to return to state government to its rightful owners--the PEOPLE of New York State. I called on Speaker Heastie and Senate Majority Leader Stewart-Cousins to DO THEIR JOBS and end Cuomo's emergency powers.
