become. We need to implement transformational changes that strengthen our
democracy and our ability to resist the ongoing assaults we know will
come.

As we honor Democracy Week this week, we need to ensure that Congress
supports the For the People Act (H.R. 1) so that our government serves the
interests of the people, public officials are held accountable for their
actions, the influence of money in politics is kept in check, and barriers
to voting are brought down so that everyone can access the ballot box. For
the People Act does all of this and more. It’s time we raise our voices
and show up for democracy!

elected officials, virtual rallies, letter-writing parties, and more! The
events will inspire unity as we rally in support of H.R. 1.

during Democracy Week!

Can’t attend one of the virtual events? You can still participate in
Democracy Week by writing a letter to your local newspaper to help spread
the message about H.R. 1. by utilizing the letter to the editor tool!
