She has been crystal clear on how Democrats got ahead in these crucial Georgia runoffs: By showing they have a plan to get families through the challenges of the coronavirus crisis and by being the best candidates for jobs, justice, and health care.
“We need leaders who actually show up to do their jobs,” Abrams says. We guess Abrams likes to lead by example.
She’s been instrumental in moving Georgia out of the GOP’s grips, and it’s clear her wisdom is striking a chord with Democrats both in the Peach State and around the country. And she’s a voice we desperately need in the conversation as people begin to talk about her future run for GA governor
But as we move past the Georgia runoffs, it’s possible Abrams will fall off the radar. It’s possible her leadership and wisdom will fade away from our national attention. If that happens -- if we lose the plot -- it will leave Republicans to keep playing the dirty tricks Stacey Abrams has so effectively called them out on.
