Let’s be clear — Sen. Josh Hawley is a co-conspirator and traitor.

FIRST: Hawley and his GOP allies peddled Trump’s bogus election conspiracy theories. He fought to overturn Biden’s votes. And he deceived supporters into thinking the election was stolen.

THEN: On Wednesday, Hawley stood outside the Capitol, encouraging insurrectionists with a raised fist. That’s before sending out a fundraising email while extremists ransacked the building.

NOW: Hawley refuses to take responsibility for what the Trump terrorists did — and continues fanning the flames with more conspiracy theories. This isn’t patriotism. This is treason. And any traitor to our democracy should be held accountable.
