TDEM ESTABLISHES COVID-19 THERAPEUTIC INFUSION CENTER IN TEXAS

This week, the Texas Division of Emergency Management (TDEM) established a COVID-19 therapeutic infusion center in Austin to treat outpatient cases of this virus.

This infusion center will help us expand access to therapeutic treatments for COVID-19 in the Austin community.

Reducing hospitalizations is a crucial component of our response to COVID-19, and we will continue to work with our local partners to ensure they have the resources they need to keep their communities safe.



AUSTIN ISD, DENISON ISD RECEIVE DOSES OF COVID-19 VACCINE FOR STAFF



Last Saturday, nearly 100 high-risk Austin Independent School District

(ISD) staff received the COVID-19 vaccine.

This week, Denison ISD

is working with Texoma Medical Center to get teachers and staff members vaccinated as well.

Vaccine numbers are rising across The Lone Star State. We will continue to swiftly distribute these vaccines to Texans who voluntarily choose to be immunized.

Drew has been a dynamic leader in the House and will continue to be a dynamic leader in the Senate on behalf of the people of District 30.

Our hearts are with the victims are the families of those killed or injured in the terrible tragedy that occurred at Starrville Methodist Church on Sunday.

I am grateful for the law enforcement officers who apprehended the suspect, and I ask Texans to join Cecilia and me in praying for those affected by this horrific shooting.

The State of Texas is working closely with first responders and local officials to ensure that justice is served and that the Starrville community has the resources it needs during this time.
