Hello,
Former First Lady Michelle Obama delivered a lesson on class and integrity as she reflected on her transition out of the White House: "Donald Trump had spread racist lies about my husband that had put my family in danger. That wasn't something I was ready to forgive. But I knew that, for the sake of our country, I had to find the strength and maturity to put my anger aside."
Trump has failed miserably to follow suit. Instead of honoring the will of the American people, Trump has resorted to doing anything in his power to make it difficult, if not impossible, for Biden to transition his team to the White House -- all with Republican support.
Meanwhile, Obama has urged the GOP to remember that "this isn't a game...Our love of country requires us to respect the results of an election even when we don't like them or wish it had gone differently -- the presidency doesn't belong to any one individual or any one party."
We wholeheartedly agree with Michelle Obama. Donald Trump has done enough damage to our country -- ensuring a peaceful transition of power isn't just his responsibility, it is the least he can do. But today, we need to know what you think of the former first lady's words of wisdom. Please, tell us now:
