Democrats like you across the country are putting all of their efforts into helping Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff win their races in Georgia today to give Democrats control of the Senate -- and to say Republicans are scared is an understatement.

Republican David Perdue has warned that the Senate runoffs will “determine the direction of our country for the next 50 to 100 years” and is pleading with Republican voters to “save America.” Meanwhile, proud Trump supporter Kelly Loeffler has promised to be the “last line of defense” against Democrats in Washington.

Perdue is right in one thing: The result of these Senate races will determine whether or not Mitch McConnell can continue using his Senate to block Biden’s agenda and any attempts at progressive legislation. As POLITICO reports, turning out voters is “paramount” to winning and taking control of the Senate, especially because Democratic turnout has historically fallen off in Georgia run-offs.

But that’s exactly why, according to NBC News, the GOP “pledged to spend tens of millions of dollars” to win the state, “including on ads that may be aimed at depressing turnout from moderate suburban voters who backed Biden.” We need to rush funding to these races and turn out every single eligible Democrat -- and we need to do it fast.
