Donald Trump knows that he is on his way out -- and that’s why he’s making such a ruckus about “voter fraud” that will only continue to escalate as we get closer to Inauguration Day.

But we’re not going to let his nonsense distract us from the incredible feat that we’ve accomplished. Because of you -- because of your hustle, your grit, and your determination over the last 4 years -- we just turned Georgia blue for the first time in nearly 30 years.

And if we’re going to make millionaires and billionaires pay their fair share, create a green economy that works for everyone (and not just Jeff Bezos), if we’re going to provide universal health care to every single American, and if we’re going to protect and expand Social Security and Medicare instead of gutting their funding, it all comes down to who controls the Senate on January 20.

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris won Georgia by over 10,000 votes. Now, Democrats Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock MUST win their run-offs today to deliver a Senate split 50/50. With Joe Biden in the White House, that would strip Mitch McConnell of his power and make Kamala Harris the tie-breaking vote.

If we win Georgia, we’ll have the opportunity to take back our country and finally pass progressive legislation through a Democratic-led House, a Democratic-led Senate, and with Joe Biden and Kamala Harris in the White House. But if we fail in Georgia, Mitch McConnell will continue to obstruct every piece of progressive legislation the House passes. (In Newsweek, Mitch even flat-out admitted to being the legislative Grim Reaper, saying, “It is true. They've been on full left-wing parade over there, trotting out all of their left-wing solutions … They're right. We're not going to pass those.”)

Republicans know that the only way Democrats can make any lasting policy changes and move our country forward is by taking back control of the Senate, so they’re funnelling a massive amount of resources into a last-ditch effort to keep some far-right authority in Washington.

Please, we’ve asked a lot of you this election, but we’re counting on YOU again right now to rush Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock immediate resources so they can turn Georgia blue again.

 

You, more than anyone, know the damage that Mitch McConnell’s Republican Senate has caused to our country.
