John, we are in the midst of a defining test of our democracy. This is what we know:
Over the weekend, Donald Trump pressured Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to “find 11,780 votes” and “recalculate” the vote in his favor.
Raffsensperger, who voted for Trump, put his duty to the people of Georgia over his loyalty to the president and declined to take part in Trump’s attempted coup.
At least a dozen Republican Senators, and over 100 Republican House members, have indicated they will challenge electoral votes during Wednesday’s official count—despite a total lack of any evidence of fraud.
While there is no chance of any electoral votes being thrown out, this abhorrent stunt will set the dangerous precedent for Congress to select a president it prefers over the one chosen by voters.
These shameless traitors have shown no hesitation in defying their oaths and the will of the American people in an effort to appease an ousted autocrat. Their actions have made it clearer than ever before: the Republican Party is the party of Donald Trump—and nothing else.
There are no moral, ethical, or ideological guardrails in today’s GOP. There are no central, unifying principles. There is no step too far in appeasing Trump or defying the Constitution.
Republicans are Trump, and Trump is the Republican Party.

John, tomorrow, Georgia voters will decide whether to reject or reward Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue for blind loyalty to Trump and profiteering off of privileged information.
From the moment it became clear Joe Biden won the election, we immediately shifted our focus to these two races.
Georgia has already rejected the politics of corruption, bigotry, and ignorance once. We believe that the same voters who put country over party will do so again.
The Trump Republican Party has proven itself untrustworthy, and incapable of governing, leading, or standing up for the rule of law. Kelly Loeffler and David Perdue—along with the entire sedition caucus—are unworthy of a seat in our nation’s highest deliberative body.
We’ve given it everything we’ve got, John.
Have you?
