We all know about the critical special elections coming up for the U.S. Senate in Georgia, and I’m excited to be doing all I can to support Jon Ossoff and Reverend Raphael Warnock. But we’ve got an election of our own coming up in Virginia on January 5th as well, and we need to do our part to support our great Virginia Democrats.

Here’s what you need to know: Candidates for Virginia’s 2nd and 90th Districts for the House of Delegates are on the ballot this week -- and we’ve got strong Democrats running who deserve our support.

With the GOP investing heavily in this election to try to roll back the incredible gains Virginia Democrats have made in the past few elections, we need to step up and help our candidates get through these final few days to victory. So today I’m asking you to make a donation to be split equally between two great Democratic candidates -- Candi King and Angelia Williams Graves.

We’re very lucky to have such great leaders representing our party in this election. One is Candi King, a parent advocate for children with special needs. The other is Angelia Williams Graves, who has represented the people of Norfolk on the Norfolk City Council since 2010.

I was so proud of our Commonwealth for playing such a pivotal role in electing Joe Biden and Kamala Harris earlier this year, but that hard work didn’t end in November. We need to keep pushing for progress in our Commonwealth by electing great Democrats whenever we can who are ready to fight for our shared values.
