Friend,
Happy New Year to you and your family. 2020 has been a hard year and our thanks go out to all the people who’ve been on the frontlines of this pandemic, our health care professionals, essential workers, and those who’ve continued to serve their communities during tough times.

Through tough times, we adapted. In the words of our senior Senator: we persisted. We created new ways to connect with our loved ones, with neighbors, and with voters during the most important election of our lives.

Whether you’re a first time voter or a longtime volunteer, you mobilized for Democrats down the ballot. At the top of the ticket, you delivered Joe Biden and Kamala Harris a victory. We’ll never forget how joy and hope flooded streets from coast to coast for the first time in four years.

2021 means the beginning of a new Biden-Harris administration and the return of compassion and integrity to our nation’s highest office. President-elect Biden and Vice President-elect Harris will draw on the best of us and put justice, equity, and science at the heart of everything they do.

Our work is far from over. This Tuesday, the future of our country is on the line in Georgia. We have the opportunity to flip the Senate and keep Mitch McConnell from bringing Congress to a standstill under a Biden administration. This weekend, I hope you’ll join us to get out the vote in Georgia and send Rev. Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff to the Senate. ([link removed])

But no matter the outcome on January 5th, we know we have more to do. The work we put in right now at the ground level will help us take back the Corner Office in 2022. Massachusetts can and should lead our country during a Biden-Harris administration, but we can’t do that when Governor Baker is holding us back. Our campaign starts now, and I’m glad to have you on board.

2020 was hard, but 2021 and the years to come are full of possibilities. Again, have a Happy New Year, and I look forward to seeing you in 2021.
Sincerely,

Gus Bickford
