The results of Jon Ossoff’s Georgia Senate runoff race will determine the fate of the country for years to come.

If he and Raphael Warnock win on January 5, Vice President-elect Harris will serve as the tiebreaker in the Senate, giving Democrats the legislative majority. But if either he or Warnock loses, we can kiss any chance of Biden easily making change goodbye -- Mitch McConnell will make it his mission to block progressive reform wherever and however he can.

Jon Ossoff had all eyes on him when he ran for office in 2017, but things didn’t turn out the way he hoped they would. Now, the stakes of this election are much higher than the last -- meaning we all need to work together to give him the support he needs to win.

We need to rush funding to his race and support Democrats as they work to re-engage voters with their message and fight off Republican smear campaigns -- and we need to do it fast, before it's too late.
