I just checked in with Senator Merkley, and he reminded me what this fight is all about:

Restoring our "We the People" democracy. Taking on the climate crisis. Restoring basic human decency to our immigration system. Making sure the rich and powerful pay their fair share. Health care for all. Affordable housing and child care for every family. And, of course, ending this pandemic and building back better.
