Protecting the Arctic Refuge

In the fight to protect the Coastal Plains of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, Gwich'in Tribes are seeking a temporary restraining order to prohibit the Trump administration's rushed approval of seismic exploration and oil and gas leases next month.

Representation Matters

Native Americans are underrepresented at every level of non-tribal government. But, change is in the air. This year, Native American candidates successfully won elections across the country. NARF will continue to advocate for a day when Native voices are equally heard.
