Yesterday I sent a note regarding a huge hurdle we’re facing in a few days: a fundraising blackout required by state law during the legislative session.

This will give our opponents a head start to outraise us in our re-election campaign, so we set an ambitious goal to raise $25,000 before the blackout begins. I just checked with my team -- and I’m proud to say that we have received an outpouring of support over the last 24 hours and already reached 28% of our fundraising goal!

National Republicans have spent tens of millions of dollars to flip Nevada red because they’re largely funded by GOP mega-donors and right-wing super PACs.

The reality is: we don’t have that advantage. But I’m proud to fight with this team -- a group of grassroots activists who are dedicated to keeping Battleground Nevada BLUE.
