NBWA kicks off 82nd Convention and Trade Show in Las Vegas
The National Beer Wholesalers Association (NBWA) today began its 82nd Annual Convention and Trade Show, bringing beer distributors together from across the country. NBWA President and CEO Craig Purser and outgoing Chairman Michael Schilleci of Alabama-based Supreme Beverage welcomed a crowd of more than 3,000 people to Las Vegas. Day one of the Convention featured remarks from Jim Koch of Boston Beer and Sam Calagione from Dogfish Head, as well as millennial pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson.

Through December 31, 2019, TTB is offering a temporary voluntary disclosure program to address the significant number of wholesalers and importers of alcohol beverages who have undergone a change in control or change in proprietorship but failed to file a new permit application within 30 days of the change, as required by law. Do you need to renew your permit? Do so before year end.
(NY) Shmaltz Brewing partners with Gasko & Meyer for upstate New York distribution
Upstate New York distributor Gasko & Meyer has reached an agreement to distribute brews from Shmaltz Brewing Company. Gasko & Meyer’s distribution capabilities will enable Shmaltz to sell its craft beers in the entire greater Albany area, plus Western and Central New York from the upper Hudson Valley to Buffalo.
