Climate Strike to send a message to governments everywhere: We won't let you ignore climate change. We demand climate action NOW.

Now, we have a message for you, John: our

step forward in our efforts to slash carbon pollution and protect wildlife and

Climate-affected species like the North Atlantic right whale are running out of
time. With only 400 North Atlantic right whales remaining in the world, we can't

The North Atlantic right whale is a beautiful, majestic species that travels
thousands of miles every year from warmer southern waters near Florida to cooler
northern waters in Canada. But warming ocean temperatures due to carbon pollution are shifting their food
sources to new locations— areas without protections for this critically endangered species —and that's putting them in grave danger.

Scientists say we only have 11 years to cut our global carbon emissions roughly
in half and until mid-century to reach zero net emissions before climate change
fundamentally alters life as we know it. We must fight to prevent catastrophic
climate impacts in the future—but we also need to work to minimize the effects
of climate change people and wildlife are feeling right now .

The struggles that the North Atlantic right whale faces are only a symptom of a
much larger problem that is impacting countless critically endangered species
across the globe.

That's why we're working on both fronts. Our programs to fight climate change
include projects to replace carbon-emitting energy with clean, zero-carbon
energy. We're also on the ground helping to restore America's wetland habitats
