Dear John,
2020's been a doozy, and in reflecting, it's amazing how much we've accomplished! I'm excited to share with you some of our big highlights from the year in this video below:

Here are some of the top-level highlights:
Our staff is more diverse than ever: with three-quarters of our staff identifying as people of color, a quarter of our staff identifying as nonbinary or trans, half our staff identifying as queer, two-thirds of our staff identify as Black, and a third of our staff identifying as first-generation immigrants, we’re bringing a wide variety of perspectives, approaches, and lived experiences to this work, setting us up to support a diverse base of young people in movement spaces more fully than ever before.
We're reaching new people: We hosted 10 trainings and webinars, with more than 950 individual people attending a PSN event in 2020. We were able to offer rapid response funding to a number of our member organizations supporting their ability to pivot and refocus in light of the pandemic. We’ve brought on 13 new member organizations this year, taking our total count to 98. We’ve onboarded 48 youth fellows from across the country and territories to support with recruitment for our Power Shift 2021 convergence, laying out deep local and geographically-diverse canvassing plans.
We need your help to keep going: Over the past year, our foundation funding has decreased by 62%. Last year we had 180 individual donors, and we're already at 362 for this calendar year. Please help us reach our goal of 500 individual donors this year.
A powerful, diverse, intersectional, youth-driven climate movement is growing; we need your support to make sure it can reach its fullest potential. Donate today at
powershift.org/give and urge your friends and family to join you in supporting our work.
With much love and appreciation,
Dany Sigwalt
