No matter what you celebrate, we want to say happy holidays and thank you for standing with Go for Broke for Veterans during the last critical election and beyond, as we look ahead towards the Georgia runoffs and 2022.

This holiday season is different from years past, no doubt about it. We hope you’ll join us in remaining dedicated to doing the right thing for our communities by stopping the spread this season. Click here to read the Centers for Disease Control Guidelines for the holiday season.
  • They recommend postponing travel and staying home when possible.
  • If you do have to travel, monitor the situation, including travel restrictions, in both your hometown and your destination, along with your own health — remain vigilant.
  • Wear a mask to protect yourself and others around you.
  • Stay at least 6 feet away from people who do not live with you and for 14 days prior to travel, do not come into contact with people who do not live with you.
  • Wash your hands consistently for at least 20 seconds with soap and water.
  • Consider making any gathering outdoors and bring your own food, utensils, and drinks.
We know from our veterans and from our great supporters that democracy takes year-round work; it takes sacrifices for the greater good.

This year, we must remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel, but we are not there yet. Stay safe and happy holidays!

— Mark Takano and the team at Go of Broke for Veterans

We here at Go for Broke for Veterans are dedicated to fighting for our nation’s heroes. Founded by Democratic members of the House’s Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, the goal of Go for Broke for Vets is to fight back against the GOP's attempts to undercut the work the committee does to help our vets. Your support is critical to ensuring that we can elect more members of Congress to support our veterans.

Contribute here to support the critical work GB4V is doing to empower veterans.
