On Friday, strikers around the country walked out in solidarity with climate protesters to demand action on the climate crisis. The threat of climate change isn't something we can wait out – if we don't act now, the impacts will only continue to worsen.

Ahead of the U.N. Climate Action Summit, activists kicked off the Global Climate Strike. The youth-led movement took to the streets to demand the end of an era of reliance on fossil fuels. Now, we need to stand with them.

We need to transition to a green economy, protect biodiversity and public lands, and pursue environmental justice that doesn’t leave anyone behind. But NONE of this will come easy – we need everyone to be committed to this fight.

The climate strikers made headlines on Friday, and now it’s up to us to stand with them and help hold our leaders accountable. If you agree we need IMMEDIATE action on climate change, sign your name to stand with the climate strikers.

Our youth may be leading this week of action, but they cannot be the only ones taking on this fight. If we want to secure a better future for us all and generations to come, it’s going to take a collective effort.

We’re committed to supporting candidates across the country who prioritize science and are willing to take the bold action required to get ahead of the climate crisis. There’s a long way to go in this fight, but we have to be up to the challenge.
