Looking at the calendar last night, I realized that in one month, we’ll be waking up to the first full day of Joe Biden as President and Kamala Harris as VP. John, that’s going to be simply glorious.

What’s not for sure: Will Mitch McConnell still control the Senate? He’s already been using his control of the Senate to create gridlock and stiff Americans who are trying to make it through this pandemic and economic disaster. It will only get worse once Biden takes office unless we remove him from power now.

Imagine what’s possible if we win the Senate:

Pass COVID relief for millions of families.

Pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act.

Raise the federal minimum wage to $15 an hour.

I’m not dreaming -- all of this progress and more is possible in just one month but only if we win in Georgia.

Mitch McConnell will put his foot on the brake and make sure nothing gets done in a Biden administration, with some Republicans whispering about blocking even basic cabinet appointments.

Let’s finish the job, win the Senate, and deliver a government that works for the people. We can do it -- but only with your help.
