Hi there,

Joe Biden announced his pick for Secretary of the Interior, and we couldn't be happier.

According to CBS News, Representative Deb Haaland was considered a frontrunner for the job, backed by tribal and progressive leaders who “believe it is long past time that a Native American person serve as Secretary of the Interior.”

Haaland, one of the first two Native American women ever elected to the House, has spent her career working across the aisle to introduce sweeping environmental protections, address climate change, and improve relationships between native tribes and the federal government.

We can’t think of a better candidate to oversee our public lands, national parks, and millions of acres of tribal lands -- especially when Trump’s current Interior Secretary, a big oil lobbyist, has successfully rolled back environmental protections and is trying to sell off our country’s largest wildlife refuge before Inauguration Day. But today, we need to know where Democrats like you stand. Could you please share your thoughts with us now?

Do you support Deb Haaland for Secretary of the Interior?

YES   NO

Thank you for providing your crucial input.
